In case of life-threatening emergencies, go to the nearest Emergency Room or call 911. Such emergencies include:
- Difficulty breathing/shortness of breath
- Chest or abdominal pain or pressure
- Bleeding that does not stop after ten or fifteen minutes
- Severe or persistent vomiting
- Coughing up or vomiting blood
- Severe or major burns
- Drug overdose
- Suicidal or homicidal feelings
- Poisoning
- Severe head injury
- Amputation

- Omega’s on-call supervisor will return your page promptly to assess the situation
- He/she will direct you to proceed to the Omega Medical Center or give you further instructions
- Please do not go to the Omega Medical Center until the on-call supervisor returns your call
